Please review these Terms of Service carefully before utilizing TemperatureToday. These terms govern your access to our real-time weather observation platform, mathematical spline visualizations, and atmospheric telemetry.
Personal & Educational Access
You are granted a revocable, non-exclusive license to view, query, and evaluate meteorological data for personal, educational, research, and non-commercial routine planning.
Not for Emergency Safety
TemperatureToday is not a certified life-safety or emergency broadcast channel. For civil weather alerts, tornadoes, or hurricanes, consult the National Weather Service (NWS).
Open Data Provenance
Meteorological outputs reflect computational models provided by Open-Meteo, ECMWF, GFS, and international mesonet networks, licensed under Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0).
Nature of Atmospheric Modeling & Life Safety Warnings
Meteorology is a probabilistic science governed by chaotic fluid dynamics. Understanding these boundaries ensures safe decision-making.
1. Probabilistic Nature of Weather Predictions
All forecast metrics, hourly temperature curves, precipitation probabilities, and apparent feels-like indices displayed on TemperatureToday represent mathematical approximations generated by numerical fluid dynamic equations.
Because atmospheric systems are subject to chaotic sensitivity to initial conditions (Lorenz attractor dynamics), discrepancies between simulated forecasts and actual physical observations can and will occur. We make no warranty that forecasts will be 100% accurate, complete, or free from temporal drift.
2. Official Emergency Alerts & Critical Evacuation Disclaimer
TemperatureToday does NOT replace official government meteorological and civil protection agencies. We are not an emergency alert broadcaster.
3. Prohibition on High-Risk Critical Operations
You expressly agree not to utilize TemperatureToday data for mission-critical operations where inaccurate weather telemetry could lead to personal injury, death, or catastrophic property damage. This includes, without limitation: commercial aviation flight routing, offshore marine navigation, heavy structural construction crane operations, or hazardous material transport.

Acceptable Use & Automated Rate Limiting
Users agree not to engage in systematic bulk scraping, automated denial-of-service (DDoS) requests, or high-frequency API polling exceeding 60 requests per minute without prior written consent. We reserve the right to throttle or block IP addresses that compromise server stability or degrade service for other visitors.
Intellectual Property & Visual Design
The proprietary design, layout, custom CSS animations, typography hierarchy, and domain assets of TemperatureToday are protected under international copyright, trademark, and unfair competition laws. Raw meteorological observations belong to the public domain or their respective open-data providers under CC BY 4.0.
Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
TemperatureToday is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. Under no circumstances shall TemperatureToday, its contributors, or data providers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to access the service.
